Logistics Sales Executive
This role will be responsible for identifying, educating, and onboarding potential customers. This role will combine prospecting, telephone sales, in person sales, strategic account solutions and relationship building all in one. This role will be getting in on the ground floor of a dynamic, growth-focused company. Unlike our client’s established contemporaries, the “career builder” accounts are not spoken for and the opportunity to make a difference is in front of you.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new customers via existing relationships, email, telephone, in person meetings, referrals and networking.
  • Identify and develop value added solutions through discovery, analysis and presentation excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to organically grow existing clientele by selling a diverse service portfolio.
  • Partner with internal operations teams to create a “Your Best Connection” customer transportation experience.
  • Develop relationships with contacts at multiple levels of client organizations.
  • Opportunity to develop clients from transactional to complete managed solutions.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous outside sales experience in transportation.
  • Passion for sales, work ethic and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Travel required, trips will vary in length, typically less than one week per event.
 
This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
