Logistics Customer Sales Representative (Remote)
This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our customer base. This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business. This individual should be a motivated customer sales representative with experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Job Type: Full-time/ Work from home

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Cultivate and build new industry relationships.  
  • Quote rates on various lanes.
  • Negotiate with carriers to develop and enhance partnerships and establish rates.
  • Support carrier reps with the coordination of transportation in a cost effective manner.
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointment times.  
  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Address and resolve any customer-related issues.
  • Provide daily communications with customers.
  • Maintain, update and analyze daily/monthly reporting.
  • Follow department operations policies, procedures and standards.


Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales environment.
  • Experience with logistics customer sales is preferred but not required.
  • Must have experience in logistics sales or customer/client sales.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
