Inside Sales Specialist
During the detailed / extensive training period (6-7months), this individual will serve as an Inside Sales Specialist. After 3-4 months, their specialty will be determined and will transition to either the Account Management or Carrier Sales Team.

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:
  • Initially serve on the Capacity team calling on Carriers & analyzing lanes.
  • Develop carriers for consistent lanes and common RFP lanes.
  • Build out routing lanes for the consistent business and book that dedicated freight.
  • Account Manager:
    • Serve as an advocate and liaison for specified Customer Accounts to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
    • Grow and maintain relationships with Customers to uncover new opportunities.
    • Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, procuring specialized equipment, etc.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and client needs; cultivate a core book of business for consistent and repeatable sales.
    • Ensure the integrity of the shipment and the Company’s brand by following standard processes and procedures.
    • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics.
    • Monitor and ensure accurate billing and strive to ensure mutually beneficial business operations.
  • Carrier Sales Representative:
    • Source negotiate and secure Carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Develop carriers for consistent lanes and common RFP lanes.
    • Negotiate and secure Carriers to move freight.
    • Cultivate strong core Carrier relationships.
    • Maintain communication with Carriers and Customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process.
    • Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues.
    • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointment times.
    • Maintain and update accurate information in the Company’s operating system.
Experience:
  • HS Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree a PLUS
  • 1+ year of professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-sales environment
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, hunter-mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
