Freight Forwarding Account Executive
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and competitive Account Executive who excels on prospecting potential customers as well as maintaining successful long-term relationships with them.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for potential customers using various methods such as face to face visits, phone calls, emails and networking.
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with customers.
  • Conduct presentations and prepare quotations to customers.
  • Research established revenue targets.
  • Build and update contract rates for different customers and services on a regular basis.
  • Regularly contact potential and current customers to increase volume or market share.
  • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.

Experience:
  • At least 1 year of freight forwarding sales and/or supply chain sales experience.  
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new business opportunities.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Competitive and creative drive to win over customers and think outside the box to get a deal done.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven team player skills.
  • Adaptable to rapid and frequent changes to address the needs of clients.
