Drayage Sales Representative
As a Drayage Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s customer base and strengthening relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing accounts within the freight brokerage sector. Your ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver solutions will be crucial in this role.

Job Type: Full-time/work from home

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Prospect and identify potential customers in need of freight brokerage services. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales leads. Present services to clients and tailor solutions to meet their specific transportation needs. Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient and reliable freight transportation. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and problem resolution.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about the freight brokerage industry, competitors, and market conditions. Use market insights to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and freight brokerage operations is a plus.
