Director of Vessel Sales & Business Development
Our client is looking to hire someone with expertise in business development in the shipping industry. This position’s primary job will be to book freight on our client’s ships. Ideally, they have the network necessary to drive new contract signings in the container and/or dry bulk sectors, especially MQCs & COAs.
Job Type: Full-time/Work from home
Responsibilities:
- Talking to prospective clients.
- Sourcing prospective clients.
- Developing materials to present to prospective clients.
- Closing clients.
Experience:
- Working for a carrier, freight forwarder, or broker previously.
- Sourcing clients for a carrier.
- Closing MQCs or COAs.
- Talking to BCOs & freight forwarders.
This position offers a competitive base salary.
