Carrier Sales Representative:
The main job functions of the Carrier Sales Representative are to focus on carrier sales and coordinating the successful movement of loads.

Responsibilities:

  • Find trucking companies that physically move clients’ freight using the company’s proprietary technology.  
  • Build and develop carrier relationships and negotiate competitive carrier rates while maintaining company revenue and margin goals.  
  • Ensure that freight is picked up, transported and delivered on time to meet and/or exceed client’s expectations.
  • Book 10 loads per day.
  • Prospect and cultivate new carrier leads to establish capacity.
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of customer freight.  
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective carriers.
  • Check calls and complete scheduling on a daily basis.
  • Possess strong customer communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of carrier sales experience.
  • Previous experience building relationships with carriers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Process drive and the ability to multi-task.
  • Have both outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and desire to learn.  
  • Be able to work and thrive independently.
  • Be a strong decision maker.


This position offers a competitive base salary and commission.
