Business Development Manager
Our client is looking to add a Business Development Manager to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for prospecting new target accounts, making daily sales calls to those prospects, as well as other duties that are outlined below.

Responsibilities:
- Make daily follow up calls to prospects.
- Have face-to-face meetings with prospects and your current customers.
- Have a full understanding of all of our client’s services.
- Have a full understanding of our client’s state-of-the-art operating platform.
- Be able to sell and discuss our client’s TMS platform to customers to create visibility, efficiencies, and cost savings.
- Represent our client’s brand, serving as the key point of contact from the initial lead to presenting solutions.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Manage & collaborate with Account Managers.
Experience:
- BA or BS degree preferred.
- Sales and/or logistics and transportation operations experience required.
- Sales and/or operational experience in one or more of the following environments preferred: truckload brokerage, full truckload (including van, flatbed, reefer, etc.), and truckload pricing/freight rate negotiations in U.S. markets.
- Business-to-business outside sales experience is a plus.
- Proven sales success is required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that involves learning and using multiple applications and handling a high volume of phone calls.
- Knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services.
This position offers a competitive base salary and a strong commission structure.
