Our client is a full-scale resource intensive truckload, less-than-truckload and intermodal service provider. Their team has a combined 25 years of transportation experience in TL, LTL and truckload van and temperature controlled shipments. They specialize in hazmat, bulk, freight management, expedited, drop trailer, lift gate and hot-shot.

Brokerage Inside Sales Manager:
This role will be responsible for developing a team of Lead Generation Representatives into a Customer Sales role. This individual will assist with hiring, training, teaching the industry and demonstrating selling techniques. This role will manage all new Lead Generation Representatives as well as the promoted Customer Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall profitability of the branch’s P&L.
  • Leverage company value proposition to expand customer base.
  • Manage resource allocation while identifying emerging markets and market shifts.
  • Utilize company technologies to improve operational efficiency and create customer facing value.  
  • Manage day-to-day operations with KPI metrics.
  • Create and manage the branch's strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain best business practices.
  • Execute monthly executive summaries for C-level leadership.
  • Drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building.  
  • Generate insights leveraging internal and external business intelligence to report on, and drive the business.
  • Responsible for the management of customers load acceptance process as well as the creation of SOP’s for each respective system.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree.  
  • Minimum 3-4 years of industry-related experience.
  • Proven management and leadership experience.  
  • Previous experience working with contract management systems, word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
