Continuous Improvement Manager

Overview
Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead process optimization initiatives across their operations network. This role owns the identification, design, and rollout of operational improvements that boost throughput, reduce cost, and elevate quality across facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives across Onsite and Offsite facilities.
  • Partner with site leadership to analyze facility-level KPIs, identify root causes of underperformance, and design corrective action plans
  • Design and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and process audits
  • Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistent adoption across multiple facility types (TPM/RAD).
  • Develop and track improvement metrics, presenting results and ROI to senior leadership
  • Train site supervisors and frontline leads on CI methodologies and tools
  • Benchmark performance against industry standards and best-in-class facilities within the network
  • Support capital project justification (equipment, automation, layout redesign) with data-driven business cases
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement or operations within logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for KPI analysis
  • Proven track record leading multi-site or multi-facility improvement programs
  • Excellent communication and change management skills; ability to influence without direct authority
  • Willingness to travel to facility locations as needed (typically 75-80%)
Preferred
  • Experience in third-party logistics (3PL), retail distribution, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with automation/material handling equipment ROI analysis
  • Project management certification (PMP) a plus
Compensation Details: This position offers a competitive base salary plus bonus.
