Overview
The Global Procurement Business Operations Leader is responsible for leading and scaling Solenis’ global procurement operations model, driving operational performance, governance, digital transformation, and capability development across the end-to-end procurement value chain. This role owns how Procurement operates at scale and accelerates the transformation of the function into a standardized, digital, data-driven, and sustainability-focused organization delivering measurable business value, compliance, transparency, and user experience globally. The leader is accountable for building a best-in-class procurement operations model by leveraging SAP and Coupa ecosystems, advanced analytics, and process optimization to improve efficiency, decision-making, and business impact. The role also supports integration activities during mergers and acquisitions and acts as a subject matter expert for Procure-to-Pay processes, ensuring strong alignment between business operations and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing global procurement operations team across multiple regions
- Partner with regional and category procurement leaders to align global operating models, priorities, and service delivery
- Build organizational capabilities in digital procurement, analytics, process excellence, and continuous improvement
- Own and strengthen the global procurement governance framework, policies, and controls
- Lead escalation management for critical operational issues and ensure clear accountability across the organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and procurement controls
- Define and execute Solenis’ global procurement digital roadmap, with a strong focus on SAP and Coupa platforms
- Drive end-to-end optimization of Source-to-Pay processes through automation, standardization, and system integration
- Partner closely with IT, Digital, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure scalability, data integrity, and adoption of procurement technologies
- Act as subject matter expert for end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes and ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities
- Lead continuous enhancement of SAP and Coupa-enabled processes to improve compliance, user experience, and operational efficiency
- Ensure robust execution of P2P processes, controls, and performance management across the global organization
- Lead procurement integration activities during acquisitions, ensuring rapid deployment of standardized processes, systems, and governance
- Support business continuity and value capture by integrating new entities into Solenis’ procurement operating model
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile, to improve procurement performance
- Standardize and simplify global processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive measurable gains in cycle time, cost efficiency, compliance, and user experience
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations, with global leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record leading global teams and transformation programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Deep expertise in SAP and Coupa platforms, including implementation, optimization, and process integration.
- Strong experience in Procure-to-Pay, procurement operations, analytics, and digital transformation.
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile
