Job Title: Inventory Management Analyst

Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning & Control
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses and cold storage facilities.
- Analyze inventory trends and develop recommendations to optimize stock positions.
- Maintain target inventory levels based on demand forecasts, lead times, seasonality, and service-level objectives.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, and at-risk inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Support replenishment planning to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Manage inventory allocation decisions during periods of constrained supply.
- Collaborate with Sales team to understand customer demand patterns and forecast changes.
- Analyze historical sales data and seasonal fluctuations.
- Evaluate supplier lead times and inbound shipment schedules to identify potential supply risks.
- Develop inventory scenarios and contingency plans for supply disruptions.
- Create and maintain inventory dashboards
- Monitor key metrics including:
- Inventory turns
- Days on hand
- Fill rates
- Forecast accuracy
- Stock-out frequency
- Excess and obsolete inventory
- Product expiration exposure
- Partner with procurement to align purchasing decisions with inventory objectives.
- Coordinate with Logistics teams regarding inbound shipment timing, customs clearance, and distribution priorities.
- Support Sales teams by communicating inventory availability and constraints.
- Assist Sales team with customer-required tracking and traceability documentation.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain planning, demand planning, or related analytical roles.
- Experience within food distribution, perishables, consumer packaged goods, import/export operations, or seafood industries preferred.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple locations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Understanding of forecasting methodologies and inventory management principles.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
