Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a small warehouse team, while coordinating daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate handling of goods. This position is responsible for assisting in packing and labeling items, pulling out products from delivery, and ensuring the correct quantity and quality of the items before release. Additionally, this position will inspect the efficiency and performance of warehouse tools and equipment, especially on schedule for regular maintenance, and call for repairs as needed. This role involves managing people, inventory control, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the Inventory Manager to maintain a smooth and organized workflow.

Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm EST (must be able to work overtime or weekends as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Organize and optimize the storage and retrieval of products within the warehouse.
- Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse and prepare schedules
- Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
- Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
- Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
- Implement continuous improvement action plans
- Always maintain a clean environment
- Assign tasks and schedules to warehouse staff and monitor their performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the receiving of incoming goods and inspect for quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with transport companies for timely delivery and pick-up of goods.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Ensure all outbound shipments are properly labeled, packed, and meet customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams (such as purchasing, sales, and customer service).
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to plan and execute daily operations.
- Handle customer inquiries related to order status and product availability.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including inventory movements, returns, and adjustments.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Assist in developing and improving warehouse processes and procedures.
- Provide support during peak times, special projects, or unexpected events.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Warehouse leadership Operations, Logistics, or Inventory Management.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- GMP Experience is a plus, not required.
