Transportation Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time; On-site
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train all drivers.
- Interact with the full-service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles.
- Supervise payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets.
- Supervise work performance and results of all drivers.
- Set effective schedules to operate within budget.
- Prioritize work effectively.
- Set high expectations and goals.
- Take responsibility for achieving performance results.
- Follow through to completion of work projects.
- Assure employees follow Company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate all company safety procedures.
- Build effective customer relationships and resolves issues in timely ways.

Experience:
- 2+ years of successful transportation management experience with proven results.
- Must have a Class A or B CDL and prior supervisory experience.
- Experience managing people in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting.
- Complete knowledge of DOT requirements.
- Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills.
