The Position
Job Title: Business Development Manager - Reefer
Job Type: Full-time; Remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities within the refrigerated and produce transportation market across the U.S. and Canada.
- Prospect, cold call, and build a pipeline of potential customers that align with the company’s ideal customer profile.
- Identify and secure new customers shipping produce and refrigerated freight domestically and cross-border.
- Build long-term customer relationships by understanding transportation needs and providing solutions-focused support.
- Partner closely with internal operations and solutions teams to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with the ability to speak to both quantitative results and overall business impact.
- Reefer/refrigerated transportation experience is required; produce industry experience is a plus.
- Prior cold calling and business development experience with a proactive, self-motivated approach to generating new opportunities.
- Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to build relationships and understand customer needs.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams to support customer success and drive business growth.
