Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Growth
- Achieve annual revenue growth and margin goals aligned with a defined sales plan
- Build and manage a balanced pipeline of new business and existing account growth
- Prospect and cold call within an assigned geographic territory
- Identify multilane, multimode opportunities that produce sustainable, long-term customer value
- Account Ownership & Growth
- Maintain ownership of your customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact
- Support ongoing customer needs through regular touchpoints, proactive communication, and service follow-up
- Manage and expand an existing book of business through upselling and cross selling
- Leverage industry contacts to uncover unrealized revenue opportunities
- Develop strategic relationships with multi-level decision makers
- Sales Execution
- Prepare and deliver customer facing presentations
- Respond to RFQs and partner with internal teams to participate in pricing and contract negotiations
- Quote shipments accurately and competitively using Haulistic’s proprietary TMS
- Collaborate with internal teams to help resolve service issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain consistent, professional communication across the full sales cycle
- Collaboration
- Partner with internal operations, pricing, and leadership teams to maximize customer experience
- Participate in deal reviews, strategy discussions, and pipeline forecasts
- Transition new accounts smoothly to operations post-sale while remaining engaged and maintaining customer ownership
Experience:
- 3+ years of inside/outside Truckload and/or LTL sales experience in a tight geographical area
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Additional experience selling International and Air is a plus
- 3PL or brokerage experience is a plus
- Must have a proven Sales track record
- Comfortable managing both new business development and ongoing customer relationships
- Proficient is MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Location: Remote Chicago/Milwaukee
Compensation Details: This position offers a competitive base salary + commission.
