Our client is looking for a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to add to their team.
Job Type: Full-time/hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered.
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual contact and sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
- Prepare professional and accurate presentations, quotes, and proposals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive client SOPs and work closely with operations and customer service teams.
Experience:
- Minimum 3- 5 years of sales experience at an NVOCC or Freight Forwarder or steamship line.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented and self-disciplined to produce results.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally self-confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive.
- Impeccable negotiation skills.
- Have an overall positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation and customer relations skills.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Ability, and willingness, to travel.
- A valid Driver’s License.
