Job Type: Full-time; Remote
Responsibilities:
- Close new clients for domestic freight and logistics services.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Educate prospects on the company’s capabilities, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to cross-sell trade consulting and international brokerage services, ensuring smooth lead handoff.
- Maintain detailed records of prospecting activity and lead status in CRM.
- Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and networking events as needed.
- Stay current on domestic transportation, logistics trends, and compliance best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B domestic freight and logistics sales.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, routing, and
compliance requirements within the U.S. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for building new relationships and
closing deals. - Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Salesforce
experience is a plus.
