The Section Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all functions
of the Warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and participate in regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, pick rates, on-time dispatch, and stock levels.
- Lead and support warehouse operatives, forklift drivers, and team leaders.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff.
- Create and manage shift schedules, handle performance issues and escalations.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the workflow and recommend improvements.
- Assist in implementing Lean practices (e.g., 5S, waste reduction) to optimize space and labor use.
- Support digital transformation efforts, such as barcode/RFID systems or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA or local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Investigate and document incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Responsibility for resource utilization and productivity management
- Ensure quality standards are maintained according to requirements by our client’s customers.
- Maintain the customer relationship with customers.
- Evaluate talent and develop plan for developing and upgrading talent where necessary.
- Adopt best practices for key business processes with a goal of continuous improvement.
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years in warehouse operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Forklift license, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) certifications are preferred.
- General working knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Must demonstrate a high-level experience with SAP WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proficiency with inventory tracking tools and Excel reporting.
- Understanding of logistics and distribution processes.
- Strong leadership, organization, and time management.
- Effective communication and team coordination.
- Ability to make quick decisions and handle high-pressure situations.
