Warehouse Sales Executive

Job Type: Full-time; Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate a portfolio of clients, identifying their warehouse and logistics needs.
  • Cold-call prospects generated by external sources of leads.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Develop new domestic markets based on demand, and customer relationships.
  • Identifying key decision-makers to initiate sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits and generate proposals.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
  • Work with various teams to ensure smooth communication, logistics onboarding, and service delivery.
  • Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by your
    manager.
  • Gather all necessary and pertinent information to profile the opportunity to Operations.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell the
    company.
  • Lead onboarding of larger enterprise accounts.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years in warehousing sales (Port-centric preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems software and tools.
  • Established network within the storage and logistics industry.
  • Customer visits that are approved by a manager.
