VP of IT - E-commerce

Job Type: Full-time; Onsite

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technology agenda to align with company objectives.
  • Take ownership of core warehouse management and customer interface systems from external vendors.
  • Oversee development, maintenance, and enhancements of the systems to improve customer experience (CX).
  • Prioritize technology enhancements to align with business strategy and drive financial results through operational efficiency.
  • Establish processes for continuous data collection to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • Guide infrastructure requirements for seamless system integration (APIs, EDI), and improve IT resilience (reliability, disaster recovery).
  • Manage internal/external teams, including analysts, project managers, and engineers.
  • Evaluate and manage technological vendors, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and mentorship within the team.
  • Support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in implementing innovative technology solutions.
  • Leadership experience in IT departments, managing director-level employees.
  • Experience in logistics (transportation, shipping, fulfillment) is required.
  • Expertise in shipping integrations (API, label generation, tracking) and e-commerce platforms (Aftership, Shopify, Shipstation).
  • Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure, budgets, and technical projects (SOW, UAT, Production Go Live).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, and vendor management (RFPs, budget management).
  • Familiarity with Advatix Cloud Suite, Netsuite, and Zoho is preferred.
  • Alcohol industry expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to present complex concepts clearly and manage diverse teams.
  • Occasional travel (15%).

This position offers a competitive base salary.
