Now, they are a full-service transportation management, warehousing and distribution company and work with shippers and carrier alike to provide new ideas that move logistics forward.

Transportation Sales Representative
This role will support the long-term strategic growth in the transportation brokerage industry, then prospect, target and close on new sales.

Job Type: Full-time/Work from home

Responsibilities:
  • Development of relationships with customers through daily researching of organizations, markets, and industries to identify, penetrate, and close new business.
  • Effective management of cold call, warm lead, and face to face sales activity to achieve sales objectives aligned with the organizational goals.
  • Presents solutions designed to meet the needs of the customer in concert with the business goals of the company.
  • Through professional communication and a compelling personality, maintain engagement with existing customers to grow healthy business relationships.
  • Develops and presents customer quotes, proposals, and business reviews.
  • Provide market and industry insight to customers through continuous awareness of market and industry trends.
  • Manage all sales activities and opportunities in a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Achieve individual volume, revenue, gross profit, and sales activity goals.
Experience:
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • A positive attitude that works through a servant leadership culture.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate social media sites.
