The Systems Analyst (Dispatch Science) is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing health of the Dispatch Science Transportation Management System (TMS). This role serves as the primary system specialist for Dispatch Science, ensuring the platform is accurately configured, well documented, and consistently maintained to support operational, customer, and contractual requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven, with experience maintaining complex systems, managing data integrity, and performing regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across customers and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support the Dispatch Science platform, including:
- User access management and permissions
- System configuration updates and maintenance
- Customer setup, onboarding, and offboarding
- Ensure system configurations remain stable, consistent, and aligned with business and operational needs.
- Own the full lifecycle of support tickets related to Dispatch Science:
- Triage and prioritize incoming requests
- Coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors
- Provide clear, timely status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure proper documentation and closure of all tickets
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Dispatch Science system issues and requests.
- Review, configure, and maintain customer-specific rating and pricing logic, including:
- Pricing sheets and templates
- Rating rules, scripts, and configuration settings
- Customer-specific workflows and automations
- Perform regular cleanup and validation of configurations to ensure:
- Accuracy and consistency
- Alignment with contractual and operational requirements
- Minimal technical debt and configuration drift
- Create and maintain detailed documentation outlining:
- Customer-specific Dispatch Science configurations
- How scripts, automations, and settings interact
- Known exceptions, special logic, and operational nuances
- Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and usable by both technical and operational teams.
- Maintain high standards for data accuracy and record-keeping within Dispatch Science.
- Perform regular audits and validation checks to:
- Identify discrepancies, outdated configurations, or data issues
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements
- Proactively recommend and implement corrective actions when issues are identified.
- Manage and maintain inventory and asset records using Sortly, ensuring:
- Accurate tracking of assets and equipment
- Organized records aligned with operational processes
- Timely updates reflecting changes in inventory status
Experience:
- Experience administering or supporting a TMS, CRM, or similar enterprise system.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience maintaining accurate data and records.
- Proven ability to manage system configurations and customer-specific setups.
- Experience handling support tickets, requests, or system issues in a structured environment.
- Ability to perform audits, identify inconsistencies, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder updates.
