Job Type: Full-time; Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Oversee regional warehouse operations to deliver and maintain outstanding customer service.
- Manage and participate in business acquisitions, warehouse moves, and special projects.
- Manage activities related to dispatching, routing, receiving, picking, inventory, and returns of warehouse operations to determine equipment, facilities and staffing needs.
- Maintain a current knowledge level of new concepts, techniques, and technologies related to our processes, products, and services to support continuous improvement efforts encompassing identified best practices.
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
- Review and manage safety and loss prevention programs.
- Responsible for mentoring and developing associates.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience is required.
- 5 - 7 years warehouse and/or distribution experience is required.
- 3 years supervisory/management experience is required.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Knowledgeable in material handling and inventory documentation.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers.
- Ability to understand, review and complete budgets.
- Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to deal with a variety of situations and make decisions and adjustments as unexpected situations arise.
- Ability to deal with customers and suppliers.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to project a positive image to customers.
- Demonstrated product, technical and customer service knowledge.
- Knowledgeable in applicable computer software.
- Ability to travel with short notice up to 50% of the time.
