Job Type: Full-time; Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Provide plant and team leadership through visioning, goals, expectations, performance management, coaching and communication, employee engagement, employee development, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (e.g. OSHA), as well as all company policies and standards, including cost control, human resources, on-time delivery, quality, safety, and waste reduction.
- Analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
- Support the development of an accurate annual budget, effectively manage the budget, and provide analysis for forecasting changes.
- Effectively plan for, budget for, and manage operations headcount needs driving strong labor efficiencies.
- Lead and manage policy deployment on the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on time delivery, customer satisfaction, employee relations, digital factory, and plant performance measures.
- Establish and manage KPI’s to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership for root cause analysis and effective problem solving, yielding immediate and long-term correction actions and sustainable enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or related field/experience is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related progressive manufacturing operations experience is required.
- Experienced leader with a proven ability to foster a strong safety culture, guide organizations through change and improvement, and build team cohesion.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members to achieve individual and organizational goals.
- Commitment to continuous improvement by proactively identifying areas for optimization and driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, using data-driven analysis and strategic thinking to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Up to 10% travel for meetings and trainings may be required.
