Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time; On-site

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily coordination of job execution, including technician assignments, site planning, and job readiness.
  • Travel to customer job sites as needed to supervise complex installation, resolve issues in real time, and uphold service standards.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and communication across install teams, fleet, and support functions.
  • Deliver on-site coaching, new hire training, and ongoing skills development for installation technicians and support staff.
  • Standardize training practices and SOP adoption to ensure consistency and quality across all markets.
  • Partner with VP of Operations to create scalable onboarding and professional development programs.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and incident prevention.
  • Conduct periodic audits and job site checks to reinforce adherence to DOT, OSHA, and internal safety protocols.
  • Lead toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure timely preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections for the fleet and install equipment.
  • Maintain organized records of maintenance activity and escalate
    equipment issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted deputy to the VP of Operations, taking on increasing responsibility over time.
  • Participate in strategy and planning sessions for division-level
    improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to reporting, goal tracking, and performance reviews.

Experience:
  • 3–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, or field service management, preferably in healthcare, transportation, or white glove delivery.
  • Proven leadership capability and a desire to grow into an executive role.
  • Ability to travel to jobs within the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast (approximately 20–30% travel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with DOT compliance, job safety protocols, and fleet maintenance programs.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, routing, and operational systems.
