Our client is a full-scale brokerage company with a database of over 5,000 carriers. They are capable of handling multiple commodities on your hard to cover lanes. Their network of carriers includes flatbeds, dry vans, and refrigerated trucks.Logistics Sales Executive - Flatbed
The Logistics Sales Executive - Flatbed will identify and engage with prospective clients to promote and sell our client’s services. This position will primarily focus on targeting new business and strategically managing those business relationships. Once accounts are landed, the Logistics Sales Executive - Flatbed will operate the business until the account is contributing steady revenue, at which time the day-to-day responsibilities will be handed over to Account Management.

Responsibilities:
- Identify shipper prospects located in our client’s primary service regions.
- Generation of new business and maintaining a book of business through identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential prospects
- Build and maintain relationships across internal departments through effective communication and collaboration.
- Negotiate spot pricing with assistance from internal procurement team.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for all new accounts.
- Manage transference of customer relationships to Account Management once the account is conducting business on consistent basis.
- Develop proficiency in applications within our client’s technology ecosystem to manage individual day to day operations and reporting requirements.
- Assist with the development and execution of Customer’s Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Sales Goals attainment, including, but not limited to:
- Load volume
- Revenue
- Gross Profit
- Familiarity with common trucking industry terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both as an individual contributor and a team member.
- Sound organizational, records management, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage related stress.
