Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Inside Sales:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current accounts through regular check-ins, feedback collection, and problemsolving.
- Provide pricing for existing customers' quote requests using a data-driven approach.
- Business Development:
- Utilize a sophisticated sales approach to identify and secure longterm opportunities and volume from new and existing clients.
- Actively seek referrals from current clients to organically grow the customer base.
- Outside Sales:
- As needed, visit customers to deepen relationships and better understand their needs.
- Use these visits to identify new opportunities for business expansion.
- CRM Maintenance:
- Maintain and update CRM (preferably Salesforce) records for each customer interaction, including calls, meetings, quotes, and sales.
- Utilize CRM analytics to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Target Achievement:
- Work towards and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly individual sales goals.
- Strong Sales Acumen:
- Demonstrated ability to use effective selling techniques inside and outside sales environments.
- High-Level Negotiation Skills:
- Ability to secure favorable terms and agreements that benefit the customer and the company.
- Excellent Communication:
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills for clear, persuasive interactions with clients and team members.

- Must possess the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively, offering immediate and long-term solutions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM/TMS systems is essential.

- Able to find creative ways to source new leads and solve problems. Should be willing to go above and beyond to meet client needs.
- Client-Centric Focus:
- Must prioritize the needs and demands of both new and existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Valid Driver’s License:
- To meet with clients for outside sales activities as needed.
Experience:
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with 3PL/Freight Broker/Transportation industry is a significant plus, but not a requirement. Open to candidates from other sales and customer service backgrounds who demonstrate a quick learning curve.
- Sales & Business Development: Experience in inside sales, outside sales, and business development. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Customer Service: Prior customer service experience, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM/TMS systems is a plus but not essential.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Bi-Lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Compensation Details: This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
