The PositionJob Title: Business Development Representative - Logistics
Job Type: Full-time; On-site
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support company growth.
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and expand market presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and solutions are delivered effectively.
- Communicate with prospective clients to present and promote Rowdy Logistics’ services.
- Support the overall sales process, from initial outreach through opportunity development.
Experience:
- Prior sales experience, with B2B sales preferred.
- Strong understanding of lead generation and identifying new business opportunities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and standard business tools; experience using AI tools is a plus.
- Must reside in Texas and be able to commute to the Irving, TX office.
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy and curiosity for new opportunities and people.
- Team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute and succeed in a growing organization.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, Mandarin, or Korean.
- Experience in sales or business development within transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage.
- Operational knowledge of freight types such as full truckload, flatbed, over-dimensional, or specialized transportation.
