The Position
Job Title: Logistics Business Development Representative
Job Type: Full-time; On-site
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business while building long term relationships with key decision makers.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive hunter with a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and competitive environment.
- The candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, e mails, networking, and industry research.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM Tools.
- Present company services and solutions to customer’s needs, negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements, collaborate with operations, and account management, and meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals, and to maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM.
Experience:
- 3-7+ years of brokerage sales and operations experience in the transportation/logistics industry
- Experience working with various modes of transportation (i.e. truckload, LTL, intermodal, produce, temperature controlled, etc.)
- Verifiable growth track record
- Technologically Savvy
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- High energy, persistent, and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
