Our client is currently one of the largest and most sophisticated intermodal trucking providers in the US. Along with their highly dedicated drayage specialists, they are committed to providing their customers with 100% satisfaction both on On-Time delivery and customer communication. Our client specializes in the transportation of Import and Export Ocean Containers (FCL) out of all the US ports with a very strong presence in the Port of NY and NJ region.Logistics Business Development Representative
Job Type: Full-time; Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Gather and identify new leads from multiple sources, including industry databases, online research, and networking events.
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and other avenues to potential clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with importers and brokers across the US.
- Utilize various platforms to manage and track sales activities and client interactions.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Proven experience in Business-to-Business sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
