Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the clearance of imported goods through customs.
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and laws.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs laws and regulations.
- Negotiating with government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for customs clearance.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure a smooth customs process.
- Communicating with carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Customs Broker
- Active Customs Broker License is required
- In-depth knowledge of customs laws and regulations
- Extensive experience in international trade and customs processes
- Proficiency in customs brokerage software and technology
- Strong understanding of global trade agreements and compliance
standards - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English
- In-depth knowledge of customs laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
