Our client is an independent supplier of intermodal equipment and ramp-to-ramp rail service specializing in 53' containers. Their mission is to provide a quality, easy-to-use intermodal service utilizing their fleet of containers that allows customers to grow and be successful while nurturing strong business and personal relationships. Our client’s flexible service is designed exclusively for intermediaries such as IMCs, 3PLs, Brokers, Freight Forwarders and Motor Carriers.

Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong, service-oriented relationships with customers, vendors, and drayage carriers.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all customer communications across various channels (portal, email, phone), with emphasis on door-to-door service requests and issue resolution.
- Monitor and coordinate first and last-mile pickup and delivery activities to ensure on-time performance and equipment availability.
- Identify and resolve transit issues across the supply chain, escalating only when necessary, while maintaining customer confidence.
- Strategically assign intermodal equipment, aligning with pickup/delivery windows and market profitability.
- Address ramp-to-ramp and full container load service questions, including billing, processing, gate reservations, and rail-related exceptions.
- Support after-hours operations in a rotating schedule (approximately every 6th weekend), addressing urgent customer service needs.
- Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure alignment from end-to-end.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in intermodal, truckload, or drayage logistics.
- Deep understanding of door-to-door transport dynamics, including first/last mile constraints.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to transportation management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first approach.
- Resourceful problem-solver with a balance of analytical and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and time management in a deadline-driven environment.
- Team player with leadership potential; prior supervisory experience is a plus.
