Job Type: Full-time; Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials using our cloud-based transportation management systems.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure they are picked up and delivered according to schedule.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and data entry.
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including driver hours, ELD usage and maintenance records.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
- Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook, and transportation management systems.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues or delays in transportation operations.
- Experience with phone systems is a plus.
- Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
