This position will oversee and optimize all aspects of our client’s freight forwarding operations This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in NVOCC operations, capable of driving and managing an operation team of over 10 person and a warehouse location.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including import/export processes, air/ocean freight, and consolidation services.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain NVOCC and OTI licensing.
- Lead and mentor the operations team.
- Analyze workflows and implement process improvements.
- Maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and partners.
- Monitor budgets and identify opportunities for cost control.
- Leverage logistics software to streamline operations and provide transparency.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics, NVOCC operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and overseeing operations.
- Proficient in industry-specific software (Magaya experience is a plus).
- Knowledge on air freight and TSA regulation is helpful. Eventually, some CBP knowledge is appreciated but not a must.
- Strong organizational and process optimization skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Caribbean and international shipping operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
