Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, highly accountable Director of Operations to partner directly with their Chief Operating Officer in building the operational backbone of a rapidly scaling technology company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, ensuring the financial, administrative, and operational machinery of the business runs with discipline and clarity. You will serve as the operational right hand to the COO, leading internal reporting, supporting service operations, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing essential HR/payroll workflows. You’ll also support the Chief Revenue Officer by
tracking sales activity and generating performance reports aligned to our client’s growth strategy. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role with exposure to every function behind the curtain.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted execution partner to the COO, managing follow-through on internal priorities, ops checklists, and cross-functional alignment.
- Work in close collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop and maintain sales performance dashboards, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Drive reporting processes across consulting services, client deliverables, and internal SLAs.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards and service performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Finance to support budget tracking, vendor invoicing, headcount planning, and cost optimization analysis.
- Maintain accountability across cost centers.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of payroll, onboarding/offboarding, and HR systems in partnership with finance and external HR/payroll vendors.
- Coordinate operational vendor relationships (e.g., accounting, HR systems, insurance).
- Ensure seamless back-office support for a growing, distributed team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline internal workflows, reduce friction, and enhance day-to-day productivity across internal teams.
Experience:
- 7+ years of prior experience overseeing all business operations including building, developing, and running processes and operations in a fast-growing, quickly scaling business.
- Prior experience working in a SaaS-based environment is preferred.
- Prior start-up experience is preferred
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Data-driven mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans
- Passion for data and fluency in analytical tools including Tableau & PowerBI
- Technological Savvy
