Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- This person will manage customer and carrier relationships.
- Responsible for establishing customer business and overseeing account management processes.
- Build relationships with Owner-Operators to further service business as needed.
- Responsible for negotiating rates, sourcing carriers, and tracking loads.
- Responsible for generating sales leads.
Experience:
- 2+ years of brokerage sales and operations experience in the transportation/logistics industry.
- Experience working with various modes of transportation (i.e. truckload, LTL, intermodal, produce, temperature controlled, etc.)
- Verifiable growth track record.
- Pricing and margin integrity achieved through effective negotiation skills.
- Previous experience creating a carrier following and managing KPI's (i.e. customer development, profitability, market penetration).
- Technologically Savvy
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- High energy, persistent, and results-driven individual who is capable of a cradle to grave role.
