Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job Type: Full-time; Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Execution of continuous improvement initiatives across various locations, departments, clients, and teams.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for performance enhancement.
  • Develop and Manage time studies, productivity measurements, and workflow mapping efforts.
  • Complete process evaluations and recommend changes that drive efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and visual aids (charts, process maps, dashboards) to communicate findings and progress.
  • Support various department initiatives through planning, tracking, and reporting on various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and monitor results.
  • Collect data to track and report various key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Development of standardized processes.
  • Perform research to quantify cost-effective and impactful solutions—services, tools, and equipment—that drive efficiency gains.
  • Support the communication and implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies across the organization.
  • Perform adhoc responsibilities as needed.
Experience:
  • Educational training/degree in Engineering (Industrial, Systems, etc.) or similar education or work experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in the fields of warehousing, logistics, and/or manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action in a high ambiguity environment.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
