Continuous Improvement Manager - Warehousing
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager - Warehousing leads initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity and quality across the organization. This role drives the development of a continuous improvement culture using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process enhancements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a company-wide continuous improvement roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Promote a CI culture through training, mentoring, and facilitation of improvement projects.
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across departments.
  • Lead and manage Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Coordinate Kaizen events, workshops, and cross-functional process reviews.
  • Track project performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, cycle time, quality KPIs).
  • Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and variation.
  • Implement process changes that improve quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation or automation initiatives where applicable.
  • Partner with operations, quality, logistics, and other business units to drive improvements.
  • Coach and develop team members on CI tools and techniques.
  • Foster ownership of CI activities at all organizational levels.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of CI initiatives.
  • Report improvement outcomes and present findings to leadership.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or quality management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required), Black Belt or equivalent are preferred certifications.
  • Process Mapping & Workflow Optimization: Using tools like Visio, or similar.
  • Project Management: Agile, Scrum, or PMP knowledge to manage improvement projects.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in Excel, Visio, Power BI
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS): ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), audits, CAPA processes.
  • Change-Management: Ability to lead and support change across different departments.
  • Leadership Skills: Influencing teams without direct authority, coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset for identifying root causes and crafting solutions.
  • Confident, professional presence and collaborative mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing time and priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • High degree of creativity, visualization ability, and insight.
