Carrier Sales Representative
As a third-party logistics (3PL) company, our client provides their customers access to their network of contracted transportation providers. Our client contracts asset-based transportation companies to provide the equipment needed to move hundreds of daily shipments for their customers.Carrier Sales Representative
Job Type: Full-time; On-site
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, qualifying, and adding carriers to your network.
- Maintaining and developing close relationships with carriers through daily communication.
- Continually reviewing carriers’ capacity, to identify growth opportunities.
- Observing and applying knowledge of the freight market’s trends and seasons.
- Negotiating rates with your carrier network, through daily follow-up calls.
- Strategizing with your Account Executives and Management team to provide capacity solutions for the company’s current and prospective customers.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of logistics experience (3PL is preferred)

- Effective and persuasive communication skills
