Our client is a premier provider of direct-to-consumer, retail, and omnichannel order fulfillment services. With strategically located facilities across the U.S. totaling over 14 million square feet, they offer brands and retailers the scale and multichannel supply chain expertise they need to grow. Their proprietary fulfillment technology platform was developed specifically with the needs of ecommerce merchants and omnichannel retailers in mind, providing real-time order tracking, order routing, inventory control, and parcel rate selection.

Business Development Executive – eComm & Fulfillment

Job Type: Full-time; Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals.
  • Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams for a fair return for the company and value to customers.
  • Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with Operations.
  • Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand and offer solutions.
  • Run prospecting playbooks geared toward target accounts and target markets.
  • Schedule as many meetings with prospective companies and key stakeholders as possible.
  • Identify internal stakeholders and key intelligence within the target account.
  • Execute the company’s current strategy, and research outbound
    strategies to enhance the sales efforts.
  • Continuously improve opportunity generation.
  • Report on campaign KPIs including meetings kept, opportunities
    created, and opportunities qualified.
  • Manage dataset of target accounts in our client’s CRM and develop
    nurturing strategies.
  • Keep key decision-makers informed of updates to our client’s platform.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Prior experience with outbound prospecting and closing business in the Logistics industry is required - specifically candidates with Direct to Retail (B2B) and Direct to Consumer (DTC) fulfillment experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience presenting business solutions through a consultative sales process is required.
  • Build trust with customers by ensuring that all of their needs are being met as committed.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Be driven by results, yet patient in working through the sales process.
  • Demonstrate an ability to have a high degree of attention to detail.
