Job Type: Full-time; On-site
Responsibilities:
- Process and record Accounts Receivable transactions such as create invoices, apply customer payments, monitor aging reports, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform Accounts Payable activities such as review and enter vendor invoices, prepare and issue timely payments, and ensure proper general ledger coding.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts; identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Maintain detailed and organized financial records for all payables and receivables.
- Collaborate with internal teams to confirm accuracy of financial data and resolve account issues.
- Prepare journal entries, assist with month-end close, and provide support for audits or compliance needs.
- Generate accurate and informative financial reports as required.
- Communicate directly with vendors and clients regarding invoices,
payments, and account inquiries.
Experience:
- Hands-on experience performing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) — must be confident using QBO in daily accounting work.
- Excellent reconciliation skills with proven accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and remain organized while handling multiple priorities.
