Account Executive (Domestic Full Truckload Sales)

Job Type: Full-time; Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new full truckload customers through strategic outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls and develop tailored freight solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pricing, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing point during onboarding and early shipments.
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier sales to validate lanes and ensure service feasibility.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline activity.
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue, load count, and gross profit targets.
  • Execute daily outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and prepare pricing proposals.
  • Support new customers with quoting, tracking, and service updates.
  • Coordinate internal communication for successful customer onboarding.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare weekly activity reports.

Experience:
  • 3+ years of logistics or transportation sales experience; FTL experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to close new business and manage customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. full truckload markets, pricing, and dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
