Senior Business Development Representative
Our client is expanding rapidly and looking for a Senior Business Development Representative for their office located in Chicago. This role requires a high level of responsibility and leadership to generate strategic sales growth initiatives. The selected individual will concurrently be responsible to grow and manage a portfolio of qualified accounts.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Generate new accounts by following market trends to better understand client needs and available business opportunities.
  • Influence senior customer stakeholders and negotiate complex sales.
  • Anticipate customer needs and develop sales strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Conduct daily outbound outreach via email, phone, and social drips using sales engagement software to connect with new prospects.
  • Engage senior executives and marketing in targeted prospect accounts and orchestrate discussions around their complex business needs.
  • Acquire relevant business information which will be used to generate both effective pricing solutions and service solutions for new prospects.
  • Establish and maintain new accounts acquired through rigorous follow-up and monitoring.
  • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate meetings with the decision makers of the client’s organization.
  • Manage multiple accounts and submissions simultaneously.
  • Embrace change, learn from failure and persist endlessly.

  • At least five (5) years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with a proven track record of sales/business development in the 3PL industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and negotiation skills.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative.
  • Influential, consultative and solutions oriented.
  • Highly motivated, goal driven, result oriented and team player.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within North America
