Inside Sales Representative
This role will be primarily focused on the growth of our client’s non-asset based division (Brokerage). This individual will be selling transportation and logistics solutions, focused on business-to-business sales.

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals to develop new business opportunities.
  • Add new customers monthly to grow profitable revenue while maintaining exceptional customer service for both carriers and customer.
  • Provide a solution-based sales approach to drive new business across multiple lines of business.
  • Develop, execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Use cross selling and up selling strategies to increase revenue from existing accounts.
  • Study and understand market trends and seasonality.
  • Follow all company policies, ethics and company procedures.

Experience:
  • 1 year of experience working in a cold-call, Tele sales environment with demonstrated success. Preferably in transportation and logistics with an understanding of multi-modal service offering.
  • Oil and Gas Logistics sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Supply Chain, Marketing or comparable experience/education
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience working towards established KPI’s and being accountable for results
  • Must be an effective communicator with a fearless attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and an unwavering commitment to success
