Senior Sales Executive – LTL & Managed Transportation Services
Job Type: Full-time; Remote
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sales efforts targeting shippers and 3PL clients in need of LTL, Parcel and/or managed transportation services.
- Identify and target potential shippers through research, networking, and outreach.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business through consultative, solutionbased sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with C-level and senior logistics/supply chain decision-makers.
- Develop and present customized transportation solutions, RFP responses, pricing proposals and lead sales presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and Integration.
- Stay informed of market conditions, carrier changes, NMFC updates, and LTL industry trends.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and exceed aggressive sales targets and KPIs
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Experience:
- 5–10+ years of proven success in LTL freight sales, 3PL, or managed transportation solutions.
- Deep understanding of LTL pricing & networks, carrier negotiations, and TMS technology.
- Experience selling complex logistics solutions and managing long sales cycles.
- Ability to sell value over price, especially in managed transportation and freight-as-a-service models.
- Strong business acumen with ability to analyze freight data, identify savings, and present ROI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred, but not required.
