The Position
Job Title: Freight Forwarding Strategic Sales Executive
Job Type: Full-time; Remote
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close strategic business with new prospects and existing clients through consultative, solution-based sales approaches.
- Build and maintain relationships within large multinational organizations to understand their supply chain needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate across internal teams and regions to develop, present, and implement complex, customized proposals that drive customer value.
- Analyze customer data, market trends, and internal insights to identify opportunities and make informed, timely decisions.
- Maintain a strong and evolving sales pipeline using customer relationship management tools and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand presence and identify new opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with customer needs and company strategy.
- Continuously develop expertise in transportation services, analytics, technology, and market dynamics to deliver innovative solutions.
Experience:
- 5 years of International Freight Forwarding experience
- Sales, Account Management, or Inside Sales experience is needed
- Combination of Air, Ocean, Customs, Truckload, LTL experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong internet and Wi-Fi access
- Experience working remotely is necessary
- Proven Sales track record
