Entry Level Sales Representative
This role will focus on our client’s fast-paced brokerage aspect of their business. This position will create and manage your individual portfolio of accounts and be expected to maintain constant communication with carriers. This role will be responsible for determining carrier availability, negotiating rates based on market trends, and identifying and resolving any issues. This role will be also responsible for prospecting new business, assisting customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Learn the ins and outs of the logistics industry as well as sales techniques through the company’s training program.  
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Conduct outbound phone calls and sending emails to establish strong business relationships.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.  
  • Create and maintain strong business relationships internally and externally.
  • Create sales material to present to customers.

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
  • Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sales drive.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Confident decision-making skills.
  • Strong ability to negotiate.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
