Our client’s primary business is in the movement of refrigerated freight. Just-In-Time, Dedicated, TL, and LTL deliveries are some of our client’s areas of expertise. Our client runs 87 well-maintained reefer units. They offer Dump, Dry Van, and Tanker services to a 250-mile radius of Kenosha, WI. They have earned a significant reputation for on-time delivery, at competitive pricing. 'Just in Time' (JIT) delivery is simply 'Standard Operating Procedure' for our client. Our client has been running a fully operational brokerage since 1993. Our client strives to provide the customers with a 'can do' attitude; never compromising integrity or the best interest of the customer's needs. The OTR fleet is equipped with satellite tracking that is tightly integrated with the dispatch software to keep all the customers aware of where their freight is at any time.
Trucking Dispatcher
The trucking dispatcher is responsible for managing driver’s schedules.
This person will need to have experience in dispatch.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating pickups and deliveries.
- Responsible for backhauling.
- Some order entry.
- Responsible for trailer allocation.
- Verifying driver’s payroll.
- Managing driver’s hours, schedules, time off etc.
- Responding to customer request and building customer relations.
Experience:
- 3+ years of dispatching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal DOT rules and regulations would be a plus.
- Knowledge of refrigerated trucks is preferred.
