Supply Chain SaaS Account Executive
This role will be instrumental in contributing to our client’s overall growth. This individual will gain an understanding of the customers’ business by cultivating strong relationships, conducting regular business reviews, and using that knowledge to drive the sale and adoption of the company’s solutions. This role will have a constant focus on the development of new business and growing existing accounts. 

Responsibilities:
  • Generate revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within identified accounts as well as new business development.  
  • Regularly research and analyze the external environment to understand market dynamics, trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Rapidly build a sales pipeline through developing relationships using networking via industry associations, email, and other outbound lead generation techniques.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Manage the customer acquisition process from onboarding, to operations, to contract negotiation, to post sale project implementation.
  • Strategize to win by developing monthly reports with strategy, KPIs and progress updates.
  • Execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships throughout the entire organization.
  • Develop learnings and establish best practices for how to effectively optimize accounts.
  • Keep executive leadership and management informed of key decisions and progress on accounts.

Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or relevant industry experience.
  • Previous experience working in the logistics industry.
  • SaaS experience is preferred.  
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual targets and KPIs. 
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in growing client accounts.
  • Ability to relate to and influence various levels of decision makers.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
