Senior Logistics Operations Specialist:

The Sr. Logistics Ops Specialist acts as the liaison between our Management, Operations and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new carrier partnerships by contacting and developing relationships with potential carrier lines. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads for carrier bases and meeting carrier goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with carriers through cold calling.
  • Update system with carrier availability and capacity.
  • Maintain constant contact with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business agreements.
  • Meet or exceed daily performance based on business objectives.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with carriers.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration preferred
  • 2-5+ years of prior Carrier Sales experience within a 3PL / Brokerage environment
  • Proven work experience developing carrier bases to support sales initiatives
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas
  • Solid understanding of performance metrics
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
