Outside Multi-Modal Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a driven, advisory and influential sales representative to continue to drive the company’s market growth through outside sales efforts. This role will be responsible for being a strategic seller. This position will focus on multi-level relationships with customers including networking with customers, building strong relationships and obtaining information from various parties to understand internal activities and find selling opportunities. 

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and cold call in a designated sales territory developing new customers.
  • Identify and execute revenue enhancing strategic partnerships.
  • Manage, renew and up-sell existing clients.
  • Develop new sales opportunities by traveling to business opportunities such as trade shows and networking events.  
  • Prepare client presentations, contract negotiations and provide follow through.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, goal achievement and long-term business goals in line with company vision and values.
  • Responsible to achieve growth and margin.
  • Work to quickly resolve any problems with a solutions-based approach.
  • Work strategically with peers for both the success and the growth of the company.

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of 3PL / Brokerage B2B outside sales experience with a focus on Full Truckload, Dry Van & Reefer freight.
  • Previous asset to sales experience.
  • Ability to leverage company assets if necessary.
  • Proven track record in business development
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain solid working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Maintain a competitive nature while at the same time, always looking out for other team members.
  • Strong relationship building qualities.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus bonus.
